TDTroniX - Short for Thermal Detonator Electronics is the name for my Arduino based Thermal Detonator Electronics PCB board.
Designed to hold the Seeeduino XIAO, PAM8403 amplifier, DFPlayer Mini, and resistors. (The resistors are pre-soldered to the PCB)
The only wires and connections needed are for the top and front LED's, on/off switch, speaker and battery.
Hopefully making installing the electronics a lot easier with less wiring.
Top LED POS to Seeeduino XIAO Pin D2/A2 -
NEG to NEG with 100Ω Resistor
Front LED 1 POS to Seeeduino XIAO Pin D3/A3 - NEG to NEG with 47Ω Resistor
Front LED -2 POS to Seeeduino XIAO Pin D4/A4 - NEG to NEG with 47Ω Resistor
Front LED - 3 POS to Seeeduino XIAO Pin D5/A5 - NEG to NEG with 47Ω Resistor
DFPlayer Mini RX to Seeeduino XIAO Pin D6/A6 TX with 1KΩ Resistor
DFPlayer Mini TX to Seeeduino XIAO Pin D7/A7 RX
Tilt Sensor Pin 1 to Seeeduino Pin D8/A8
Tilt Sensor also has a GND wire going from the same pin used to connect to the Seeeduino XIAO with a 10K Ω resistor, the other pin on the Tilt Sensor goes to POS
IMPORTANT::
All Seeeduino I/O pins are 3.3V ONLY, DO NOT input more than 3.3V,or you will damage the CPU.
IMPORTANT : Please Read
The connection from the Seeeduino XIAO RX Pin to the DFPlayer Mini TX Pin was not made when the PCB boards were manufactured.
So a wire will need to be added on the Self Build Kits between these 2 pins on the reverse of the PCB (Added after the Seeeduino XIAO and DFPlayer Mini headers or boards have been soldered in place.
There is no need to add a resistor.
This addition wire is already placed on pre-built kits.
TDTroniX Thermal Detonator Arduino Code
My Arduino Code for the Thermal Detonator is written by me, and was one of the first bits of code I wrote..
It's not the best piece of code, but it does the job
It flashes the front LED's in the correct sequence, lights up the top LED and plays the famous Thermal Detonator ticking sound..
The Thermal Detonator will play an explosion sound if knocked or turned upside down due to the tilt sensor inside.
The TDTroniX Code comes pre-programmed on the Seeeduino XIAO with no user configurable options.
Please Note: My Arduino TDTroniX program code is NOT open-source software so is not available for download. It comes pre-installed on the Seeeduino XIAO microcontroller
Top Slide Switch - Supplies Power to the Thermal Detonator.
Tilt Sensor Switch - Plays an Explosion Sound when activate
TDTroniX Thermal Detonator
All parts except batteries are available in the PropTroniX store. Please buy your batteries from reputable sellers.
The Seeeduino XIAO is supplied with the TDTroniX Thermal Detonator code pre-installed.

Option 1:
Self Build Kit with the TDTroniX PCB
This option includes all the components needed for a self build thermal detonator electronics kit including the TDTroniX PCB board which has all the required resistors pre-soldered in place.
The Arduino TDTroniX program code is pre-installed on the Seeeduino XIAO.
You have the options to include the headers and/or JST leads with the connectors when purchasing.
Please Note: This kit has the option to include the battery but only if shipping is within the UK. (These are readily available on the internet for anyone outside the UK.)
I recommend using a 40 x 25 x 5mm 3.7V 650mAh Li-Ion battery.
Please buy batteries from a reputable sellers.
Option 2:
Pre-Built Kit
This option is for a pre-built kit using the TDTroniX PCB which is mounted on a 3D printed chassis which also holds the speaker and battery.
The Arduino TDTroniX program code is pre-installed on the Seeeduino XIAO
The pre-built kit is basically ready to install inside a 3D printed thermal detonator.
The pre-built kit is for those with no knowledge of electronics or soldering skills and want an easy option for their thermal detonator
Option 3:
Buy Just the Components You Need
Already have some of the components needed? then why not just purchase the components you need to complete a TDTroniX Thermal Detonator Electronics Kit.
All the components needed are available to purchase in my store
Please Note: I do NOT sell batteries separately. (These batteries are readily available on the internet.)
I recommend using a 40 x 25 x 5mm 3.7V 650mAh Li-Ion battery.
Please buy batteries from a reputable sellers.
If your buying a Thermal Detonator Electronics Kit and have a UK shipping address you will have the option to add a battery to your order.
The required battery can be added to the kits only.
